Is TutorDesk really free?

Yes. The Starter plan is S$0 / month with no credit card required. You get unlimited students and lessons, PayNow invoice tracking, and parent portal links.

Do you process PayNow or take a cut of tuition?

No. Parents pay you directly via PayNow, bank transfer, or cash. TutorDesk tracks invoices, QR codes, and payment proofs; we never hold or route the money, so there are 0% platform fees on transfers.

How does the parent portal work?

Each student gets a private token link. Parents open it in a browser (no app install) to view the schedule, pay with a PayNow QR, download materials, and request reschedules. You control what each portal shows in Settings.

Is my student and parent data PDPA-safe?

We design for Singapore freelance tutors with Row Level Security so tutors only see their own data. Read our PDPA statement, privacy policy, and security overview.
