Terms of Service
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Welcome to TutorDesk! By signing up for an account, accessing the dashboard, or using the parent billing portal, you ("the Tutor", "User", or "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Subscription Services & Fees
TutorDesk operates on a subscription model:
- Free Plan: Limited to a maximum of 5 active/trial students. Features include core scheduling, attendance logging, and basic PayNow invoice generation.
- Pro Plan: Billed at SGD 15/month (Monthly) or SGD 150/year (Annually). Unlocks unlimited active students, PDF invoices, and parent approval flows.
All fees are billed in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing dashboard. Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the Free tier, subject to the 5-student capacity cap.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. TutorDesk cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3. Use of Services & PDPA Compliance
TutorDesk provides scheduling, billing coordination, and client communication interfaces. Tutors are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent from parents/students before entering their personal data (such as phone numbers, emails, and student school levels) into the application.
You agree not to use the service to transmit any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, or otherwise objectionable material.
4. PayNow Transactions Disclaimer
TutorDesk helps tutors track payments received via PayNow, bank transfer, and cash. TutorDesk does **not** process, handle, or escrow the funds itself. All student payments are made directly from the parent to the tutor's bank account or PayNow proxy. TutorDesk is not responsible for disputes, chargebacks, or unpaid tuition balances.
5. Limitation of Liability
TutorDesk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the application.
6. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
